Colchester City Pipe Band is a civilian pipe band based in Colchester, Essex. It was formed in 2009 as Colchester and District Pipes and Drums, also known as CADPAD, and later performed as Colchester Pipes and Drums.
The band adopted the name Colchester City Pipe Band when Colchester received city status. It represents the city at engagements across the United Kingdom and Europe, including community celebrations, tattoos, civic occasions, and remembrance ceremonies.
Band members have participated in the annual Operation Market Garden commemorations in Arnhem, Netherlands, and the War Widows Association remembrance event at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London.
