Durham College Pipe Band
The Durham College Pipes and Drums has been a non-competitive teaching band which was established in February of 2005. This year (2023) we have decided to try our hand at competing at the Grade 5 level in three Highland Games: Georgetown, Cambridge and Fergus. We will continue to perform as a street marching band in several local events. Check out the “Engagements” listing for dates and times. Grand Celtic Pipe Band
The Grand Celtic Pipe Band made its debut performance in 2000. We are a diverse group of players, from young beginners to seasoned veterans, who focus on competitive pipe band performance, improving skills, and having fun. The players themselves are strongly encouraged to compete in solo events to continuously aim for improvement and many do so, at various levels, with great success. …
Windsor Police Pipe Band
In the fall of 1999, a group of pipers and drummers from the Windsor/Metro Detroit area came together and formed a Grade 3 level band with the goal of going out and competing in the summer of 2000. This new band was named “Ballinedan Pipe Band”. During this time The Windsor Police Pipe Band was a Grade 4 level band but was not competing at any contests again for the second straight year. …

Established as a non-profit corporation in 1985, the Scottish Society of Windsor Pipe band is a community band. We can be heard playing through out Southwestern Ontario and Michigan, at community and service club functions and festivals. …
Burlington Firefighters Pipes and Drums
The Burlington Firefighters Pipes and Drums was started in November of 2007 following the line-of-duty-death of Burlington fire fighter Wayne Topping. It was at his funeral that a small group of members from the Burlington Fire Department saw the need, and interest, in having a pipe and drum band of its own. Why a pipe and drum band? To quote Rick Lasky, Fire Chief of Lewisville Texas, it is about “Duty, Honour and Pride”, it is about “honouring our brothers and sisters, our families both in the fire house and at home”, “and the time to honour them is now, while ……
