De La Salle Combined Pipe Band is based at De La Salle Holy Cross College in Victory Park, Johannesburg. The school is one of the Johannesburg institutions maintaining a student pipe-band program and also hosts an annual Highland Gathering.
The band gives young musicians experience in Highland piping and drumming, ensemble performance, and South Africa’s pipe-band competition circuit. In 2023 it won both the Grade 4 medley and march, strathspey and reel contests at the South Coast Highland Gathering in Amanzimtoti.
