Colorado Youth Pipe Band is a Denver-based youth organization founded in 1989. The band teaches Highland bagpipes, drums, and Highland dance while developing musicianship, leadership, pride, and camaraderie through performance and competition.
Members are generally between six and eighteen years old, and no previous musical or dance experience is required. The band draws families from across Colorado’s Front Range and performs at parades, festivals, ceremonies, and celebrations. It also participates in competitions sanctioned by the Western United States Pipe Band Association.
